Medicare open enrollment is just around the corner, it begins October 15th and runs until December 7th.  Open Enrollment is the time of year when current or newly-eligible Medicare beneficiaries, including people with original Medicare, can review their current Medicare Advantage or prescription drug plans, compare the plans to other options, and choose the plans that best meet their current needs. Every year, there are new prescription drug and Medicare Advantage plan coverage choices available to people with Medicare. Changes in the plans could negatively affect beneficiaries by increasing premiums and /or co-pays or worse, dropping a medication from their formulary that is currently covered. Medicare beneficiaries do not want to get stuck in a plan which no longer best suits their needs. Feel free to contact us at 1-800-803-7174 and we would be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
